Opportunities that lead to
CPT and OPT
Hartwick is clear in our desire to help you land a curricular practical training (CPT) and optional practical training (OPT) opportunity and we know future employers seek graduates with real-world work experience and the ability to adapt easily. Our future-focused approach to education – the Hartwick FlightPath - not only provides a framework for students to develop these skills, but it offers access to extensive career and internship opportunities and a strong alumni network. This is your ticket to rewarding CPT and OPT opportunities.

Through our flexible and personalized experience that we build together, our students gain everything they need to launch a fulfilling career by working with a Guidance Team, including your personal Career Coach, building their network, and defining their strengths. When our students graduate, they’re ready for success.

You’ll begin with a seminar to help you set goals and understand how to create your FlightPath journey. Then, you’ll focus on critical 21st-century skills to prepare you for this ever-changing world.
Your FlightPath Guidance Team will support you in building financial literacy and other life skills that lead to true independence.
Year

We’ll work together to align your personal and professional goals and set you up for real-world work experiences. This comes to life in an immersive two-day, conference-style summit, where you’ll learn key professional skills. From there, you’ll connect and network with alumni who can show you the ropes post-graduation.
